Good News!

The neighborhood is booming with construction.  A house that was used for selling crack and human trafficking has been sold and is currently demolished down to the studs.  Homes that were boarded up are being renovated, and if that is not possible, they are being demolished and new homes are going up.  Homes that were abandoned have been sold, and architects, builders, and owners are fixing them.  Take a look on New York, Pennsylvania, S.L. Davis, and Coleto, and you will see the progress.

Also, you may have noticed all the police activity around 12th and Chicon.  According to the District Attorney's office, there is a major initiative happening right now to close down the open air drug market and allow for residential and commercial buildings.

Thank you to all you neighbors who have been a part of making this neighborhood a better place for all neighbors.
