next neighborhood cleanup

All,

Saturday, November 3, 2012
10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.

The 12th and Chicon area needs our attention again, as well as our community presence.

Foster Heights Neighborhood, in conjunction with Kealing Neighborhood Association, is organizing another cleanup of the immediate area of 12th & Chicon, to include north to 13th Street, south to New York Avenue, east to Poquito, and west to Salina Street.  This will include a cleanup of the alleys, sidewalks and empty, open lots.

This cleanup with be supported by Keep Austin Beautiful (tools, materials, etc.), Austin Police Department, and hopefully Code Compliance pickup trucks for large, bulky items found in alleys (furniture).

Please email me a commitment projection of the number of residents in your neighborhood that would volunteer to take part in this cleanup.  Our presence and attention to this area is affecting all of our hoods.  We have a target number of at least 10-20 bodies.  Foster Hts can provide at least five.

Most sincerely,

Linda Hutchins,
Foster Heights Neighborhood
Edward Winston,
Kealing Neighborhood Assn.
