Last night someone tried to steal the birdcage from our front porch. They came into the porch gated area. The reason they did not succeed was because the cage was chained to the porch. I heard the chain hit, one of the dogs went ballistic, I heard the porch gate slam closed, then as I looked out the window I saw a blur of a car tearing out towards 12th street. The reason I am posting this is for a heads up, because crimes like this occur in groups by location by person(s).
